Q：I'd like to add a gun type scanner to Z-6082 but I don't know how to enable the AUX port.

  • No setup is necessary to enable AUX port. To add a handheld scanner to Z-6082, connect it using a cable that supports the AUX port and set RS-232 as the interface for the handheld scanner. Please refer to the User's Manual for details.

Q：Can I use a 30-meter serial cable with Z-6082?

  • To use a 30-meter serial cable, a RS-232 Extender is required

Q：Regarding EAS functionality of Z-6082, how does it work ? Which EAS systems are compatible with the Z-6082 ?

  • To use EAS, simply connect the EAS system to Z-6082's EAS port. EAS system should work with Z-6082. For detail, please refer to user manual about EAS setting.
