When the scanner is able to read the barcode the problem may be caused by the incorrect host interpretation of the USB protocol. Please use the following setting codes to adjust the USB speeds.

．USB0: Regular speed mode. Usually for older operating systems like Windows 98 when default setting is not working. 
．USB1: Full speed mode. The default speed of the scanner. 

．USB2: Middle speed mode. Usually for Mac O.S. or Linux O.S when default setting is not working.

．Make sure the scanner is set to the right interface. (USB, keyboard wedge, RS-232, etc.) Please refer to the Programming Guide to setup the scanner interface. 

．Make sure the right cable is used to connect to the host

The character delay time may be set too short. Please refer to the Programming Guide to increase the character delay time.

The default minimum Code 39 length is 3 digits. Please refer to the Programming Guide to enable Full ASCII Code 39 and set the minimum default to 1 digit.

Please follow the steps below and refer to the Programming Guide to set the minimum or maximum length.

The scanners can read the RSS(GS1 Databar) barcodes. Please check the decode capability chart on our website.

The scanner may identify the barcode as EAN-13 code if the first digit of the UPC-A is 0. Please change the scanner setting to "EAN-13 first "0" can be transmitted" using the Programming Guide to resolve this issue.

Normally the quiet zone has to be observed as necessary when making the barcodes.

If barcodes have been made. Please refer to the margin settings and try to set the margin smaller to see if able to correct the problem and output normally.
